Most tunes use standard tuning, though Reid's ingenious arrangement of Beethoven's Fur Elise is worth the price of the book. It is played in an open tuning with the partial capo, and allows a note-for-note way to play the piano piece, with an amazing number of open strings. There is no other way to play this piece without changing some notes.
